PERFECTLY IMPERFECT
Yes, it’s real film
Add even more “feel” to your wedding video
What is Super 8?
Super 8 is a type of motion-picture film format created in the 60’s and was very popular into the 80’s.
Why shoot on Super 8?
Shooting on film creates a unique look. The grain, scratches, and colors - all of it feels like the footage is reaching out and giving you a big warm hug!
How does it work?
Each roll of film is 50ft long and provides around 3 minutes of Super 8 footage. Depending on the wedding I’ll usually shoot 3-5 rolls of film. Once finished, I’ll mail the film off to a lab in Colorado to develop and scan. They send me the digital files via an online link.
The finished product!
Once I download the footage, that’s when the fun starts! I’ll weave the footage into your films creating an even more realistic feel. You’ll also receive a full Super 8 film containing every bit of footage I shot on film
“When we pictured our wedding video, the main beauty of it was knowing we’d be able to show our kids and grandkids some day. We would have an heirloom to transport our loved ones to that day and moment in time. Reminiscent of my parents wedding video, and theirs before that, the super 8 footage adds such a beautiful element of timelessness to our video, and will be absolutely amazing to see 30-50 years from now.”
